Backyard Garden Club to host plant sale May 14

The Backyard Garden Club of Dundee is hosting its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 14. The sale will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in Grafelman Park in West Dundee. The park is located off Main Street (Route 72), three blocks east of Route 31.

The plants for sale are all from the members' own gardens and include perennials, grasses, ground covers, vegetables and herbs.

Proceeds from this sale are used to fund the club's scholarship program which is available to Community Unit District 300 students who are pursuing a career in horticulture, environmental studies or other related fields.
