Lake Forest Civic Orchestra concert

The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra will perform majestic works of Tchaikovsky and Bach at its Sunday, May 15, "Symphonic Drama" concert at 4 p.m. at the Gorton Center's John & Nancy Hughes Theater, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. The concert will also feature young pianist, Kimberly Han, who will bring Mendelssohn to life on stage. Han, a sophomore from Lake Forest High School, was the overall piano winner of the senior division in the Walgreens National Concerto Competition. She has performed in Chicago Symphony Center, Preston Bradley Hall of Chicago Cultural Center, and Ravinia's Bennett-Gordon Hall.
