The Statesman wins student journalism award

Stevenson High School's student newspaper, the Statesman, has been awarded a first-place ranking in the American Scholastic Press Association's annual contest for collegiate and secondary education student publications, officials with the Lincolnshire school announced. It's the second consecutive year the newspaper has received the honor. The Statesman also received an award for an article on teen drinking.
