Elk Grove child molester sentenced to probation

An 81-year-old Elk Grove Village man pleaded guilty to molesting a 6-year-old boy.
Dominick Amanti was sentenced to 30 months of probation and ordered to pay $1,374 in fines in exchange for his guilty plea to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, court records show.
Prosecutors said Amanti, who had no previous criminal record, molested the boy twice between Oct. 31 and Nov. 5, 2015.
