Girls water polo: Latimer nets Barrington record with 11 goals

Mia Latimer scored a school-record 11 goals in helping host Barrington past St. Charles East 18-6 on Thursday in a nonconference girls water polo matchup.

Andrea Potgieter had 3 goals, while Ellie Connors (5 saves) and Amanda Lynch (4) shared time in goal for the Fillies (19-3).

Prospect 13, Vernon Hills 1: The Mid-Suburban East champs jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first period on their way to a nonconference victory.
