UCA's Emma Svensson invited to NCAA Women's Golf Regional

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - University of Central Arkansas freshman Emma Svensson has been invited to play in the 2016 NCAA Women's Golf Division I Regionals.

Svensson will play in the Baton Rouge Regional in Louisiana on May 5-7.

Svensson came to UCA from Halmstad, Sweden. She was named first team All-SLC and the SLC Freshman of the Year.

At the regional, the top six teams and the top three individuals not on one of those six teams will advance to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on May 20-25 in Eugene, Oregon.
