Dist. 15 board needs lesson in balance

(An open letter to Palatine Township Elementary District 15 school board President Peggy Babcock.)

As a member of the community, I say shame on you. A 10-year contract is unprecedented and irresponsible for taxpayers but certainly good for your group as you all posture to add another school in northern Palatine.

Again it is so smelly as your group will not release a contract due to it not yet being final.

I love this community and thank the district for the wonderful work the teachers provided for my children. But the board needs a lesson in transparency and balanced practices.

As a response to your deal, I am readying my house for sale just in case I can't afford to support your deal.
