Yorkville man dies in I-88 crash near Naperville

A Yorkville man died after a crash involving two trucks during Monday evening's commute on I-88 near Naperville, state police said.

The crash shut down two of four lanes of westbound I-88 for much of the evening rush hour.

Daniel Garcia, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was driving a truck that rear-ended another truck stopped in traffic near mile marker 127, ABC 7 reported.

The driver of that truck was taken to Edward Hospital with minor injuries. State police continue to investigate the crash.
