Hillary Clinton to campaign Tuesday in northern Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will visit a steel mill and an automobile plant Tuesday to highlight her stance on U.S. manufacturing jobs.

Clinton's campaign announced Monday the former secretary of state and senator will visit Munster Steel in Hammond at 1:45 p.m. CDT Tuesday and then travel to Mishawaka to tour the AM General auto plant at 5:45 p.m. EDT.

The stops will come one week before Indiana holds its primary election. Clinton is in a contest for the Democratic presidential nomination with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Sanders hasn't announced any Indiana events yet.
