Noblesville 2-year-old drowns in neighbor's pool

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a 2-year-old Noblesville boy's drowning death in a neighbor's pool.

Noblesville police initially received a call Saturday evening about a missing child. An adult family member who was caring for the boy said she was mowing a lawn when she noticed he was missing.

The child was found 15 minutes later in the neighbor's pool, which was surrounded by fence. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

The boy's name has not been publicly released.
