Arkansas eliminated from SEC tennis tournament

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - South Carolina has eliminated Arkansas from the Southeastern Conference Tennis Tournament.

The Gamecocks defeated Arkansas 4-1 on Thursday in the tournament being played in Columbia, South Carolina.

Giammarco Micolani in singles provided the Razorbacks' only win.

No. 18 Arkansas will now wait to learn if it receives an invitation to the NCAA Tournament. The selections are to be announced May 3.
