Girls water polo

Lily Lawrin had 5 goals, 5 assists and 6 steals as Elk Grove rolled to an 11-1 victory over Resurrection on Thursday in girls water polo.

Other big producers for the Grens (9-12) included Alyssa Rosenorn (2 assists, 3 steals), Hannah Sallenback (4 steals), Kaylee Hatfield (3 goals, 1 assist) and goalie Jessica Deering (17 saves).

Stevenson 15, Conant 10: Allison Travetto had 7 goals to lead the host Patriots (18-1) in a nonconference matchup.

Sam Wooley had 5 goals and Paulina Chowaniec 2, while Cam Rosas made 13 saves for the Cougars (13-11).

Stevenson is ranked No. 1 in the state by illpolo.com.

Maine West 9, Deerfield 6: Kristen Burger (6 goals) and Annie Picchiotti (3) carried the scoring load as visiting Maine West (12-8, 3-1) picked up a CSL North win.
