She won it the following year. ... Ko will be going for her third straight victory at Lake Merced. ... Minjee Lee (19) became the fifth player to win twice before turning 20. The others are Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, Marlene Hagge ad Sandra Haynie. ... Canadian teen Brooke Henderson tied for 10th in Hawaii for her seventh straight top 10. ... All nine LPGA Tour events this year have been won by players 23 or younger. ... Michelle Wie missed the cut last week in her hometown event, running her drought to 32 straight LPGA events without a top 10 dating to the 2014 season finale in Naples, Fla.
