Trump campaign splits from Evansville office near Cruz staff
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Republican presidential rivals Donald Trump and Ted Cruz didn't keep their neighboring offices in Evansville for very long.
Trump's Indiana campaign has moved from an office building after less than a week in space adjoining that being used by Cruz's campaign.
The Trump campaign tells the Evansville Courier & Press (http://bit.ly/1XF9sVU ) the move to a larger office on the city's west side was to "accommodate the demand."
The Cruz office remains in the space next door to the Vanderburgh County Republican headquarters near downtown Evansville. Both presidential campaigns have opened offices around Indiana in preparation for the state's May 3 primary.
