Coroner: Woman found in southern Indiana lake drowned
NORTH VERNON, Ind. (AP) - A coroner says accidental drowning killed a 49-year-old southern Indiana woman whose body was found in a private lake.
The (Columbus) Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1S6f6A3 ) Jennings County Coroner Eugene L. Rudicel ruled Monday in the case of Jama D. Brown of North Vernon.
Indiana State Police say Brown's body was found in the lake just outside the town of Vernon, about 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
Investigators say a caller reported spotting the body about 4 p.m. Saturday.
