Fermilab brings the best of dance in Chicago together

"Stars of Dance Chicago" will feature at least 10 dance companies in one evening at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in the Ramsey Auditorium at Fermilab, off Pine Street in Batavia.

Tickets are $28, $14 for ages 18 and younger.

This Fermilab tradition returns to Ramsey Auditorium. Curator John Schmitz of the Dance Chicago Festival always pulls together an extraordinary variety to bring the best of Dance Chicago to Fermilab.

With a slate of usually more than 10 dance companies involved, there is always something for everyone.

So far the 2016 Stars of Dance Chicago includes Trinity Irish Dancers, Tre Dumas, Gus Giordano Dance, Tristan Bruns/Tapman (tap), Chicago Dance Crash (dance/theatre), Ballet 5:8 (pointe), Christine Rich Dance Theatre (pointe), Forum Dance Theatre (contemporary), Visceral Dance Chicago (contemporary) and more.
