Death probe under way after body found at Jennings lake

VERNON, Ind. (AP) - Authorities are conducting a death investigation after the body of a 49-year-old southern Indiana woman was found in a lake.
Indiana State Police say the body of Jama D. Brown of North Vernon was found in the lake just outside the town of Vernon, about 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
Investigators say a caller reported spotting the body about 4 p.m. Saturday.
The cause of death was not immediately released.
