Debris stops traffic on Route 20

Elgin police are reporting on the department's Facebook page that traffic on eastbound Route 20 at Randall Road is stopped due to debris on the roadway.

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.

According to one poster on the page, a truck carrying refrigerators hit a bridge.

Posters are also saying there is damage to the bridge.
