Girls soccer: Victories for Hoffman, Conant, Prospect

Isabella Alansari had a goal and an assist to help visiting Hoffman Estates pick up a 2-0 decision against Elk Grove on Friday in Mid-Suburban League girls soccer.

Vanessa Bonilla also had a goal, and Katherine Lopez had an assist on Alansari's goal whiel Francesca Van stopped 5 shots to earn a shutout.

Conant 1, Palatine 0: A first-half goal by Zoe Shoro, assisted by Stephanie Mazurek, held up as the host Cougars got a shutout for keeper Taylor Cyr.

Prospect 7, Wheeling 0: Aly Kobler and Ashley Wel both scored twice and Ella Marzolf provided 4 assists to power the attack for the visiting Knights, and keeper Madden McDonnell earned the shutout in front of back-liners Michelle Haaning, Marissa Valentini, Natalie Marfilius, Grace Johannesen, Tina Suto and Kathryn Suzallo.
