Aurora cops investigate possible abuse of 10-year-old girl
A 10-year-old Aurora girl told police she was touched inappropriately by a man after accepting a ride from him around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to her elementary school on the city's far east side.
The girl told police she was running late when the man offered her the ride and she climbed into his black, four-door sedan at the intersection of Symphony Drive and Linden Avenue. Once in the car, she said, the man inappropriately touched her before dropping her off in front of Allen School on the 700 block of South Farnsworth Avenue.
The girl told another student what occurred, and that student told a school administrator.
The man is described as Middle Eastern or Hispanic, between 30 and 40 years old, with black hair and a thin mustache.
