Arlington Hts. library marks National Bookmobile Day
Bookmobiles - where the reader meets the road
The Arlington Heights Public Library marked National Bookmobile Day on Wednesday.
The library's bookmobile stopped at Centennial Park at 1209 E. Burr Oak Drive from 3 to 4:15 p.m., then moved on to the Creekside subdivision at Schaeffer Road north of Weston.
The bookmobile carries a wide variety of the latest materials for all ages, including audiobooks, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, large print books, magazines, and best sellers, according to the library's website.
In addition, you may reserve an item and specify that you would like to pick it up on the bookmobile. For a schedule, visit www.ahml.info/services/bookmobile.
