Trump, Cruz campaigns have neighboring Evansville offices
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - The Indiana campaigns for Republican presidential rivals Donald Trump and Ted Cruz will be neighbors to each other in Evansville.
Both campaigns are leasing space next door to the Vanderburgh County Republican headquarters in preparation for Indiana's May 3 primary.
Vanderburgh County GOP Chairman Wayne Parke tells the Evansville Courier & Press (http://bit.ly/23BDm0N ) that workers for Cruz and Trump will be intermixed, using same the hallway and stairway.
Parke says he is supporting John Kasich for the Republican nomination, but that the county party will be treating all the candidates the same.
The building being shared by Trump and Cruz staffers will be buzzing with Republicans as it also will have campaign offices for Gov. Mike Pence, U.S. Senate candidate Todd Young and U.S. Rep. Larry Bucshon (boo-SHAHN').
