Girls soccer: Impressive win for Lake Zurich

At the PepsiCo Showdown at Lake Zurich, the host Bears came up with a 6-1 victory over York in girls soccer on Tuesday.

Emily Udelhoven scored 2 goals and had an assist for Lake Zurich while Alexa Juarez scored a goal and had 2 assists and Samantha Hartman assisted on 3 goals.

Goalkeeper Madison Hart had 5 saves for Lake Zurich, which moves to 4-2 on the season.

Warren 3, Crystal Lake South 2: Warren moves to 6-2-1 on the season with the win.

The Blue Devils got goals from Alliyah Parker, Teagon Albert and Ellen Szostak.

Szostak also had an assist.

Warren goalies Sky Reilly and Lydia Sundberg had 4 and 3 saves respectively.

Round Lake 1, Grant 1: Michelle Hernandez scored Round Lake's goal off an assist from Melanie Rodriguez.

Round Lake goalie Jordan Devera had 3 saves.
