Naperbrook Announces Results of First Tourney of its 25th Anniversary Season
Naperbrook Golf Course hosted its first tournament of 2016, the Partner Best Ball Challenge, on Saturday, April 9. Unseasonably cold temperatures and a dusting of snow delayed the start to 9:15 a.m., however the 44 teams competing in the tournament finished under sunny skies and gradually moderating temperatures.
Jim Doyle and Alex Labahn won with a score of 59, with two teams tied for third place and three teams tied for fifth. The top seven finishers are as follows:

Naperbrook Golf Course is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2016. Designed as a links style golf course by golf course architect Larry Packard, the course first opened for play on April 27, 1991. Naperbrook continues to be a favorite destination for area golfers, recognized in the Daily Herald's "Fantasy Back Nine" in 2015 and voted" Favorite Place to Play Golf" by readers of Glancer Magazine in 2013.
The Partner Best Ball Tournament is the first of the 2016 series at Naperbrook and Springbrook Golf Courses, which is supported by Tournament Series Sponsor Brighton Car Wash. The next tournament of the season is the Senior Partner Championship on May 18, 2016 at Springbrook Golf Course. Any amateur golfer 55 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap is eligible. The deadline for registration is May 11.
