Canadian Pacific and Hatteras edge higher, Hertz tumbles

The rental car company cut its business forecasts for the year, saying there is too much capacity on the rental car market.

Hatteras Financial Corp., up $1.54 to $15.80

The mortgage real estate investment trust agreed to be bought by Annaly Capital Management for $1.5 billion.

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd., up $4.58 to $139.37

The railroad gave up on its effort to buy competitor Norfolk Southern, which has repeatedly rejected its offers.

Under Armour Inc., down $2.39 to $41.15

An analyst for Morgan Stanley said he thinks the athletic apparel maker's U.S. sales growth is slowing down.

National Oilwell Varco Inc., down $1.79 to $27.32

The oil and gas industry supplier gave a weak first-quarter forecast and cut its dividend because of deteriorating market conditions.

Insys Therapeutics Inc., down $3.42 to $14.24

The company said demand for fentanyl spray fell in the first quarter because of concerns about a national opioid epidemic.

MiMedx Group Inc., down 79 cents to $8.20

The biomaterials company reported disappointing sales in the first quarter, saying it went through "growing pains."

Yahoo Inc., up 41 cents to $36.48

The owner of Britain's Daily Mail newspaper said it's in early talks that could result in an offer to buy Yahoo.
