8th Graders receive a Very Special Sacrament

Nineteen young adults at St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish in Prospect Heights received the sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop George Rassas on Friday, April 8.

The sacrament of Confirmation has been known as 'becoming a Soldier of Christ" is received by young men and women in eighth grade. They have studied for many years and have done numerous hours of community service in preparation for this sacrament.

Linda Chroazy, principal of St. Alphonsus Liguori and Brett Seick, eighth grade teacher were so proud to stand beside their students.
