Wheaton Park District plans kite fly

Wheaton Park District's Go Fly a Kite event is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in Graf Park, 1855 Manchester Road near the DuPage County Fairgrounds.

The event will feature a Grand Launch at 11:15 a.m., a performance by the Chicago Fire Kite Team at noon, a Highest Flying Kite contest at 1 p.m. and a Most Unique Kite contest at 1:30 p.m.
