Essex Crane Rental website wins Telerik award

DES PLAINES - The Essex Crane Company website, essexcrane.com, designed and built by Des Plaines-based Americaneagle.com has been named a 2015 Telerik Sitefinity website of the Year winner in the construction category.

Since its inception in 2011, the website of the Year awards have been recognizing Telerik Sitefinity-powered websites for creativity, design, user experience, functionality and overall website presentation.

Essex Crane Rental Corporation was in need of a new, easy to use website that would help the company better represent their products and with over 300,000 replacement parts available, they needed a robust platform with a strong website search. When faced with this challenge, Essex contacted Americaneagle.com and using Telerik Sitefinity along with Hawk Search, Essex Crane now has the ability to continue to grow their parts database without any further limitations.

Telerik, a Progress company, reviewed more than 50 nominations across 18 categories. Each category had three finalists and one website was selected as the winner through public voting. Close to 8,000 people participated in the voting process this year.
