Author Geoff Colvin to speak in Naperville

The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce's second annual speaker series will showcase Geoff Colvin, best-selling author of "Humans Are Underrated: What High Achievers Know that Brilliant Machines Never Will" and senior editor at large at Fortune Magazine.

Colvin speaks from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Community Christian Church-Yellow Box, 1635 Emerson Lane, Naperville.

The topic of Colvin's presentation will be "Leading Ahead of What's Next." The world of business is changing in deep ways: Competition, technology, government's role, and the balance of global economic power all are shifting massively. Successfully navigating the tumult is every leader's greatest challenge today.

Colvin helps leaders meet these challenges by bringing a unique perspective based on long-standing relationships with world leaders in business and government. He knows what they're seeing, thinking and planning.
