Grain mixed, livestock mostly lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 1.20 cents higher at $4.7420 a bushel; May corn was 3 cents higher at $3.5560 bushel; May oats was 4.20 cents lower at $1.8440 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 8.60 cents to $9.09 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was 1.03 cents lower at $1.3250 a pound; April feeder cattle was 1.97 cents lower at $1.5473 a pound; April lean hogs was up .15 cent to $.6795 a pound.
