Police searching for suspect in Waukegan robbery
A man who implied he had a gun robbed a Target store in Waukegan Saturday, police said.
Police responded to the store, 3050 N. Lewis Ave., at 9:30 p.m. for a report of a robbery, police said in a news release. A cashier told them that a man approached the cashier in the checkout line with his hands in his pocket, implying he had a gun. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
The suspect left Target in a silver vehicle driven by a waiting driver and heading toward Lewis Avenue. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black jacket, white hoodie, tan pants and a Bears winter hat.
