Northwest Choral Society Concert: 'Something Old, Something New'

Sunday, April 10 at 4:00 pm, First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights will present the Northwest Choral Society, which will perform "Something Old, Something New." In this concert, NWCS will celebrate the musical styles of yesterday and today-revisiting the classical writing of Haydn with his Little Organ Mass, the neoclassical style of Brahms's Geistliches Lied and the contemporary harmonic language of Morton Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna. The concert will be conducted by Dr. Alan Wellman, artistic director and conductor of NWCS and associate director of music at First Presbyterian.

This concert is part of the 2015-2016 Concert Series season at First Presbyterian. All concert events are free and open to the public, with free child care provided.
