Spring choir concert at VHHS

Vernon Hills High School presents its spring choir concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in the auditorium at the school, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The theme is the Golden Age of American Musical Theatre. The school choirs will perform scenes and musical excerpts from the "Sound of Music," "Brigadoon," "Oklahoma," "Fiddler on the Roof," "West Side Story," "My Fair Lady," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "South Pacific" and "Carousel." The event features more than 60 students' solo parts, the work of three guest artists, hundreds of hand-created costumes and props. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students/seniors.
