Dog-bots the focus of 4-H Robotics Showcase in Antioch
University of Illinois Extension held the third annual 4-H Robotics Showcase at Antioch Upper Grade School on Saturday.
The theme of this year's challenge was dog agility. Teams of middle school students programmed dog-bots to autonomously complete events that are similar to events used in dog agility events.
The robotics showcase is the culminating event for University of Illinois Extension's Growing 4-H Science Robotics Clubs. Youth had the opportunity to show off what they have learned in their robotics clubs throughout the school year. Outstanding teams received trophies for robot design, teamwork and creativity.
