Mundelein mulch giveaway

Do you need mulch for your spring flowers and landscape beds? The village of Mundelein's public works and engineering department will host a huge Mulch Madness giveaway event for all Mundelein homeowners and contractors from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Mundelein Public Works Facility, 440 East Crystal St. High quality, shredded mulch will be provided to free homeowners and contractors on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment operators will be on site to load larger mulch requests into the back of a truck or trailer. There will also be a "load your own" zone for people with smaller containers to fill.
