Rosary High School offers academic, athletic summer camps
Rosary High School in Aurora will offer academic and sports camps for grade school and high school students in June and July.
Academic camps for girls in sixth through eighth grades are offered in science, creative writing, math and music/drama.
Sports camps are offered for students in fifth through 12th grades, for girls in volleyball, softball and basketball, and for girls and boys in tennis and golf.
"CSI Rosary Science Camp" will be June 6-10, followed by "Curtain Up: Theatre and Choral Arts Camp" on June 13-17, "Math Out & About" on June 20-24, and "Creative Writing and the iPad" on June 27-July 1.
These camps are from 8 to 10 a.m., and the cost for each is $100. To register for these camps, visit www.rosaryhs.com/camps.
The athletic camps are designed to help students develop skills and reach their full potential.
Basketball camps for girls in fifth through 12th grades are available in June. Volleyball camps for girls in fifth through 12th grades will be held in July. Softball camps for girls in sixth through 12th grades are available in June. Co-ed tennis camp for boys and girls in fifth through eighth grades will be in June; and co-ed golf camp for fifth through eighth grades and girls golf camp for ninth through 12th grades will be in June.
Tennis camps meet at Marmion Academy in Aurora, and golf camps meet at Bliss Creek Country Club in Sugar Grove. Costs range from $75 to $125. To register for sports camps, go to www.rosaryhs.com/sports_camps.
