Trump says meeting with RNC in Washington was 'terrific'

WASHINGTON (AP) - Presidential candidate Donald Trump says his meeting Thursday with Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and other staff was "terrific."

Trump says in an interview airing on Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" that "I think they wanted to really discuss unity and I like discussing unity too."

Trump also met in Washington with a group of foreign policy experts that he says he'll be announcing Friday.

He says the group had "some amazing discussions" about topics including his refusal to rule out dropping nuclear bombs, including on Europe.

Trump says those in attendance agreed with his stance on the subject as well as his call for U.S. to overhaul its involvement in NATO.

Many foreign policy experts have expressed alarm at both ideas.
