Likes senior housing for Dominick's site

I am not sure what our mayor, Tom Rooney, and the alderman think is going to happen to the Dominick's property.

No large company is going to come in like a Home Depot, Best Buy, etc. and redevelop the property. Not on Kirchoff Road. Kirchoff Road has become mostly a pass-through road.

When my wife and I read about the possibility of a senior center we thought of that was a good idea. As we grow older we would like to stay in Rolling Meadows and this would be a perfect fit. We have lived here for more than 30 plus years.

The city council should embrace this idea. They have fought any idea about another grocery type store in protecting the Jewel by making outlandish requirements that no store could match. There's not many choices left.

Mr. Rooney and alderman, embrace this concept. This may be the last shot a redevelopment you have.
