Authorities investigating apparent suicide at Lombard gun range

A 24-year-old Chicago woman apparently died by suicide last week at the Article 2 Gun Range, Lombard Police Chief Ray Byrne said Monday.

The DuPage County coroner issued a brief news release saying the woman died Thursday at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Gun range officials were not immediately available for comment.

Authorities said their investigation is continuing, but no foul play is suspected.
