Prince of Peace UMC Hosts Special Earth Sunday Program

The Social Action Committee of Prince of Peace UMC in Elk Grove welcomes SCARCE, a local environmental education organization, at 9:30 a.m. on Earth Sunday, April 24. SCARCE representative Beverly Jaszczurowski will speak about gardening, composting, and greening our homes. She will also share stories about how SCARCE matches donations with people/organizations that need them to help save our environment.

Beverly is the daughter of SCARCE founder Kay McKeen. Beverly is also a licensed Social Worker and spent two years as the Community Service coordinator for Elk Grove Village. She currently serves as the SCARCE director of Communication & Business Development.

All are welcome to this special service at Prince of Peace UMC, 1400 Arlington Heights Road in Elk Grove Village.
