Meet Rep. Moeller at lunch stop

To gather feedback from local community members about the most pressing issues facing our state, state Rep. Anna Moeller, D-Elgin, is hosting a lunch stop at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, at the Blue Box Café, 176 E. Chicago St. in downtown Elgin.

"These visits help me create a dialogue with community members about the issues that most concern them," Moeller said. "Hearing directly from area residents about their concerns is the best way for me to stay accessible and effectively represent our district."

Moeller meets regularly with constituents to discuss their concerns and thoughts about state issues over a cup of coffee or lunch at area coffee shops and restaurants. She also visits area businesses and walks door-to-door throughout the community to stay accessible.

"I look forward to hearing from as many residents as possible, at this event and others, about ways we can improve our state and find common ground to end the ongoing budget impasse," Moeller added.

This event is open to the public. For more information on Moeller's coffee shop or lunch stops, call Moeller's constituent service office at (847) 841-7130 or email StateRepMoeller@gmail.com.
