Baseball: Four Hampshire pitchers combine on no-hitter
Four Hampshire pitchers combined on a no-hitter Thursday as the Whip-Purs' baseball team defeated Newark 7-1 in a game played at Lenz Field in downstate Jacksonville.
Alex Mahaz pitched 4 innings for the win while Christian Puente, Bryan Diete and Michael Bowen threw an inning each.
Kyle Homa had 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the Hampshire offense. Jacob Manning also drove in a run.
