Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 3.50 cents lower at $4.5940 a bushel; May corn was 1 cent lower at $3.6740 bushel; May oats was 3.50 cents lower at $1.84 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 1 cent at $9.0620 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .13 cent higher at $1.3558 a pound; March feeder cattle was .385 cent lower at $1.6103 a pound; April lean hogs gained .10 cent at $.6978 a pound.
