Join Team GLASA to run marathon

The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association has entries available for anyone who wants to run in the 2016 Bank of America Chicago Marathon while also making a difference in the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.

All runners are welcomed to join team GLASA, whether they've run a marathon before or this is their first time.

This year, on Sunday, Oct. 9, Team GLASA and representatives from more than 100 countries and all 50 states will be running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

Beginning and ending in Grant Park, the racecourse takes runners through 29 neighborhoods of the vast city of Chicago. Charity runners in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon raise millions of dollars to support a broad range of charitable causes such as GLASA.

GLASA's motto is to "Let No One Sit on the Sidelines!" GLASA believes that individuals with physical or visual disabilities should have the same opportunities and access to inclusive recreation, fitness and competitive sports activities.

Charity runners with Team GLASA help provide programs and improve the health and wellness of these individuals. a charity runner. Register by April 12 to secure a spot as a charity runner.
