Contestants sought for 2016 Libertyville pageants

Participation in the 2016 Miss, Junior Miss, and Little Miss Libertyville pageants is now open to ladies who apply and meet eligibility requirements. Applications are available at the Libertyville Village Hall, 118 W. Cook Ave., or libciviccenter.org. The application deadline is Thursday, May 12.

Age requirements for each category are:

• Miss Libertyville: 16-21 years old.

• Junior Miss Libertyville: 11-13 years old.

• Little Miss Libertyville: 6-8 years old.

Contestants are required to reside in the 60048 ZIP code.

The 2016 Libertyville Pageant is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 16, in Cook Park. For official rules and information or to obtain an application packet, call Bunny Otrembiak, pageant director, at (847) 362-7898.
