Seeking Gurnee Days honoree nominations

Gurnee Days Corp. has set Saturday as the deadline to submit nominations for a living individual or couple who has given selfless service to the community to be honored at this year's festival. To qualify for the nomination, the nominees must have provided meaningful contributions to the Gurnee community for 10 or more years. The Gurnee Days testimonial dinner is set for Thursday, Aug. 11. In addition, the individual or couple will lead the Gurnee Days parade Sunday, Aug. 14. Nomination forms are available at Gurnee village hall or gurneedays.com.
