Man wanted in Illinois slaying arrested in Georgia
ATLANTA (AP) - A man wanted in a fatal shooting in Illinois has been arrested in Georgia.
The FBI says 34-year-old Michael R. King of Harvey, Illinois, was arrested at a home in Lithonia, about 20 miles east of Atlanta.
Federal agents announced the arrest Tuesday. It occurred Friday night.
Authorities say King is a suspect in the killing of Antonio Anderson in Riverdale, Illinois. The man was shot to death inside a home on Feb. 28, and a warrant charging King with first-degree murder was issued a few days later.
King is jailed in metro Atlanta awaiting extradition to Illinois. Court records aren't available to show whether he has a lawyer.
