FBI seeking man suspected in Carol Stream bank robbery, others
Authorities have released images of a man they say is suspected in a Carol Stream bank robbery and other heists.
FBI officials announced Monday the Carol Stream suspect was responsible for a robbery at Guaranty Bank, 7030 S. Ashland Ave. in Chicago. The robbery was reported at 3:17 p.m. Monday, according to the FBI's bandittrackerchicago.com website.
Authorities said the man hit West suburban Bank, 1380 Army Trail Road in Carol Stream, at 3:14 p.m. March 8.
The FBI said the accused bandit was described as a bald black man, early to mid 30s, medium build, about 6 feet and roughly 185 pounds. He has tattoos on both forearms and was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans in the Monday job at Guaranty Bank.
Authorities said the man also robbed another Guaranty Bank at 4620 S. Damen Ave. at 6:36 p.m. March 10 and Citibank at 2801 W. Devon Ave. at 12:15 p.m. March 12. Those two banks are in Chicago.
FBI officials said the man did not display a weapon in the robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
