Eastbound lanes of I-90 reopened following crash near Route 53

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 between Meacham Road and Route 53 are back open after a crash involving two semi trucks, resulting in one minor injury, was cleared, according to an Illinois State Police news release.

The crash happened in a construction zone where there was no shoulder, and the vehicles were relocated. Oil from one of the vehicles was also cleared before all lanes were reopened to traffic.

The crash remains under investigation.
