Get tickets for Breaking Free's third annual culinary event

Breaking Free will present "Bon Appétit … Chefs Creating a Recipe for Community Support," a culinary explosion of signature dishes from local restaurants, on Thursday, April 7.

From 5 to 9 p.m., renowned chefs from the Aurora area will gather at the Gaslite Manor Banquets in Aurora to donate their signature culinary delights to benefit the mission of Breaking Free.

For a donation of $60 per person or $70 at the door, participants can sample specialty dishes from 15-20 area restaurants such as Tribella, Ballydoyle, and Basil's, to name a few. To register, visit www.breakingfreeinc.org.

Breaking Free is a nonprofit organization serving individuals and families in Aurora and surrounding cities, with the treatment and prevention of substance abuse, child abuse and mental health challenges. Breaking Free has filled this need for the past 38 years.

The event will include a variety of dishes to sample, music and raffles. It is an opportunity to experience a variety of restaurants in one location. Following is a list of participating restaurants: Angeli's, Basil's, Betsy Sanchez Pastries, Claddagh, Gaslite Manor, Reuland's, Smokey's, The Olive Mill, Trader Joes, Tribella Grill, Fireside Grille, Gillerson's Grubbery, Ballydoyle, Two Brothers, and more to come.

Breaking Free's third annual culinary event will be held as Gaslight Manor Banquets, 2485 Church Road, Aurora.
